Deputy President William Ruto will no longer access the Jubilee Party Headquarters following a decision by the Party’s National Management Committee.
The Committee has also recommended for the removal of Ruto as the Deputy Party leader saying he has formed a breakaway faction dubbed Jubilee Asili which he intends to use as his political vehicle in 2022.
Jubilee Party Secretary General Raphael Tuju says the decision by Ruto to visit Jubilee party headquarters yesterday accompanied by a number of MPs was in bad faith and meant to ridicule President Uhuru Kenyatta.
He said the MPs who accompanied Ruto are the same ones who hurl insults at the President adding that the Party had to intervene to forestall a confrontation with MPs affiliated to the President who had threatened to head to the headquarters.
Tuju says Ruto will not be allowed to use Jubilee Part Headquarters to popularize his 2022 bid.
